I remember once when I was younger I had scratched my head a lot the day before I went in for a retouch( I didn't know I was getting one the next day). I already had a tender scalp and oh man I thought my brain was melting never felt anything like that ever again in my life.

So glad I don't use perm anymore. I don't miss going through that lol nor miss putting something harmful in my hair.

@daziya11 2?! Wow.. lol. I was 10 or 11 when I got my first perm. I don't even think my hair was that difficult to deal with to warrant a perm. But my mom gave it to me anyway.

This movie made me laugh so much. My Mom put my 1st perm in when I was 2. So I don't really remember what my natural hair is like. I really would like to go natural, though.. As much as I love perms. (Sarcasm.) ^-^

@ilovehornyslags First of all, it is BLACK, not BLEK. Second, as far as I'm concerned, us Black people do not want to be White. This is not a Black and White issue. This is a "how to make hair more manageable" issue. Anyways, if you want to throw Black people out there. What about White people getting perms? We don't accuse them of trying to be Black! So chill. Racism is no where near acceptable, now. It's the 21st century, get in it.
