Cascade Magnetic Fork Covers - DAGS are ideal for handling a wide variety of loads. Designed for use in any industrial sector where forks are used to lift products that could be damaged from contact with bare forks. These versatile magnetic covers have been used to protect painted metal, anodized aluminum, and wood products. Developed for the painted metal and aluminum industry, DAGS protect surfaces which are subject to scratching or wear, including powdered metal surfaces or anodized aluminum. When confronted with an awkward or slippery load, like metal boxes or cages, the lift truck driver can install the covers on the forks in a matter of seconds, improving stability and decreasing the chances of the load slipping off the forks.

Nice feature, those magnetic fork covers!

The DAGS will stay on the fork surface once a box or cage is put back on the ground again, and not stick to the cage?

Yes, they should stay put on the forks. The strong magnetic layer which adheres to the fork is shielded by an iron core (and layer of rubber on top of that) which prevent the DAGS from adhering to the load.

Also I've just added a link to the user manual in the description that might give you a better idea on how they work.
