An ad depicting an Asian girl thanking U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow has drawn criticism. Some groups are calling it racist. Here is the ad as it aired during the Super Bowl.

I don't get the people who argue this ad isn't racist. Their argument is "but it's true the Chinese economy is growing ad they might overtake us." and that might be true.

But that doesn't change the fact it's an Asian American girl who can probably speak english well hired to do a fake stereotypical accent in a really bad and inaccurate portrayal of China while wearing a bright yellow shirt with stock Chinese music playing in the background.

He could have made the SAME spend-it-now riff in a way that doesn't include xenophobia and jingoism! He chose not to, and now the American people suffer because the Senate remains tightly in Harry Reid's iron grip of obstructionism.

You're right on taxes but a little off on regulation. While they're light on regs, they're also light on patent protection and the rule of law. So, if you're doing more than old-hat factory work - like developing new tech and paying engineers & computer geeks big dollars to do it - you choose America, so at least it takes China an extra few weeks before they copy it.
