  • This is called a dynamic balancer. Maybe try mercury instead

  • Very curious to see what happens if you get a working setup. I was thinking of trying the Centramatic tire balancers that they use on trucks. They use the same concept. I just don't know what will happen when the engine power pulses come into play.

  • It will be interesting to see how this works out as long as you don't get hit by one of the steel balls if it flys out. The is a lot of force near the rim of that flywheel.
