  • great! can we please ask these questions (and, omg, get answers) BEFORE election time? I am so sick, sick, sick of the annual POST election story: Why do we still used an electoral college instead of just counting the popular vote?

  • You have to change the Constitution in order to get rid of the Electoral College. This will never happen becuase it diminish the power of states with small populations. Which was also the main reason for having the electoral college the protection from the "common man" is secondary reason and was in a time few people could read or had regular access to newspapers.

  • Why can't the cameraman hold the video straight? Was he high? But I gave this video five stars anyway.

  • Foilball- A lot of the founding fathers of our Constitution were Common men... Ben Franklin was poor starting out. That's not important though, I agree though- Make it happen.

  • MelissaJenna seems intelligent and concerned, but there are forces in place many may not have any idea about, nor comprehend the power of. Voting is NOT the will of The People, that ended long ago; You want "reform"? Start with the Illuminati, Alex Jones is a good place to start. America is "owned". More than a superficial interest in government will be needed - in fact, we may need to "overthrough" it.

  • The electoral vote was established because the founding fathers believed that the common man was basically too lazy, too stupid, and too much of a coward to protect the fate of a nation. know you're history were not asking for freedom were asking for power over our destiny, know one ever got power by asking or deciding to debate or vote on it. Women's vote, civil rights, independence, YOU WANT IT YOU HAVE TO TAKE IT, GRAB IT, EARN IT, AND PLAINLY JUST DO IT.

  • Let us vote weather or not if we want to use an electoral vote system, or the good ole fashion way of tallying up real votes. When i know the guys we are voting for are getting their fair share of electoral votes, i will think that my vote really counts, even if my district votes against me, at least it will be fairer.
