  • didnt they take off the trims when they altered the first turn?

  • @hoopsnyoyo15 yes

  • How do the G's compare now to later last year after they trimmed it? I rode it in July (with the new harnesses and trims), and the G's were pretty intense (although not too bad). I really liked it then! I hope it's not any less than it was then.

  • @sneaky98gt its actually VERY intense now. if you didnt get to ride it before the trims last year, its fairly similar to how it was then. and the airtime is back in a big way on the 2nd hill. in my opinion, its the best version of the ride they have had so far, and i hope it stays that way!

  • I know it's just from the video, but as the ride goes to the first curve, the track shakes. XD

  • I went to KD during the week they switched the rubber restraints to the vests. Much better with the vests.

  • I rode this twice this summer and it was ridiculous! Blacked out both times :|

  • @liljdub08 i am reporting you to mr deverne he will know what to do with you

  • @greatplanesman yeah i saw it when they announced it on thursday. I think it'll be alright. I like the first turn instead of just a traditional camelback.

  • @KBCC3 Negative ghostrider. CW is building Leviathan, B&M's first 300ft tall (306ft) Mega Coaster, let alone their tallest ride to date, I believe fastest as well. Google search it, there is already an animated POV of the ride. It's COMPLETELY different and WAY more tame than I305, and if it's anything like the recent B&M Hypers, you can count on it having minimal airtime and a short (time wise, not length wise) layout.

  • Any POV's yet?

  • i think my local roller coaster park (Canada's Wonderland) is announcing to build this ride in six days for the 2012 season. My question is how many trains are there. We have the tallest roller coaster in Canada at my park (bit shorter than this) and it has 3 trains so the wait is always less than an hour. What about this one?

  • @astrofrk 94 mph is the official speed of this ride without the trims brakes on the first drop, and 90 mph was the official speed with the trim brakes. Most sources say that it still goes 90 mph because they probably didn't know the trims were were removed from the drop. And I never said one sucks. I rode, and enjoyed both coasters, very much so in fact. But never did I say one sucked.

  • @mrcalmac27 I have since seen disputing stats from different sources. Who is correct? Perhaps all of them. I would think any train speed can vary a few mph depending on the weight of the passengers. Are we hauling a bunch of Girl Scouts or a train of Weight Watcher rejects? On a streight track and side by side, would anyone be able to tell a difference between the speeds of these coasters? Probably not. Anyone who says one is great and the other just sucks probably hasn't been on both.
