Use Sherpa 3A is a 4x4 armoured vehicle all terrains dedicated to projection and intervention units. The Sherpa 3A has a 3 t payload (basis protection) on road as well as on all difficult terrains (sand, stones or mud). Equipped with an armoured body (N2 ballistic protection and mines N1 protection), its internal volume is 7m3.

Utilisation Le Sherpa 3A est le véhicule blindé 4x4 tous terrains de la gamme Sherpa dédié aux unités de projection et d'intervention. Le Sherpa 3A bénéficie d'une charge utile de 3 tonnes (en protection de base) sur route comme sur les terrains les plus difficiles (boue, sable, rochers). Equipé d'une caisse blindée (protection de base N2 balistique et N1 mines), son volume intérieur est de 7 m3.

It's 13T dude, not regular, and by the way it's made to consume little, not to just drive on sand. Think a bit, do most wars happen in the middle of nowhere in the mountains or in snow, deserts, and muddy areas?
Of course its French-made but only for export. This vehicle can drive forward. And it's only 2x as expensive as a HMMWV because of ridiculous French labor laws.
