I agree he is a great snooker player, but some of his positional shots are just not good enough. Not enough to be one of THE greatest. And the fashion he finished this 147, just needs a little bit more improvement. Still miss Ronnie O'Sullivan.
@samadbaksh I agree that Ding is a class player but i think it is a bit early in his career to award him one of the greatest players to pick up a cue.Greatness usually comes from results and not measured in 147`s.However i think Ding could have had a great chance of being world champ this year, was robbed by some bad luck for a place in the final against Higgo.
There are players out there, professional and veterans who have never made a 147 in tournament play, also seasoned professionals who have only made one in their lifetime. Ding has made two in three days, people shouldn't underestimate his talent, in my view he is one of the greatest players ever to lift up a snooker cue.
@askbob i`m sorry mate but Clive Everton is class his undying love for the game shines through and i cannot believe the BBC replaced him with Ken Doherty,Snooker wouldn`t be the same without `Mr Clive`
@TheRocketExpress I think Mike Hallet is cool it is just that boring Mike Smith that just goes on and on about dribble, I still wonder how the hell he got the commentators job and if anyone knows i would love to hear how and why-for now i shall call him` mr obvious`
his positional shot should be fine tuned more, then he'll be really great

@julian1471 Mr. Clive is the worst I have heard. I remember the masters final with the Ding and Fu, it was complete Pub talk. Little racist as well.
