Gift of a Friend- A Stemi Story Ep. 1

==STORY IN HERE==
--Demi's POV-
Woo. Its summer 09. I really miss Selena. I wonder what shes up to. Hold on let me call her. I got up and grabbed my phone out of the purse I used last night and dialed Selena. No answer. I got her voicemail again. Shes probably at dance class. Eh. Shell call back later.
"DEMI!" I heard it was my mom going off to work and telling me goodbye.
I ran downstairs to tell her the same and hug her.
Then I heard my phone ring. I rushed back upstairs because I knew who it was. It was Selena I knew because I have a special ring tone for her its Fearless by Taylor Swift, her favorite song. I answered my phone saying,
"Hey Selena."
"Hi Demz, sorry I didnt answer earlier I was at dance" she replied.
"Okay. Its cool." I said.
"Well, I gotta go. Talk to ya later." She said then hung up.

After that call I put my phone in my pocket.

Selena was the best dancer I knew. She did every dance possible, but the best part was that she loved what she did and was very passionate about it. Kinda like me and music. Except for the fact that nobody knows that I sing, play guitar, piano, and drums. Im just Demetria Lovato, the stupid, annoying girl everyone hates except Selena. Selenas been there forever, but I never really noticed her until Miley. Ugh. I shudder at the name of my old, backstabbing, ex best friend. I cant believe her. But that was years ago, and now Im happy I have Selena. Shes a lot nicer and smarter than Miley.

My phone rang again. This time it wasnt Selena. It was a private caller, probably another prank call. I decided to answer it.

"Hello?" I answered.
"Hey Demetria." some dude said.
I knew who it was so I hung up. It was that idiot David Henrie. UGH! I hate him! I sat in silence for five minutes then suddenly my phone rang. It was a text this time from Selena. She told me she was coming tomorrow. I replied,k. to the message. She never replied back after, so I grabbed my black Mac Book and logged onto my AIM. No one was online except for Sknight.in.shinning.armor305 Sterling Knight, the guy Selena liked. I was about to click invisible, but I was too late. He messaged me. Why would that ever happen? The message read, "Hey Demi :)". I wondered why her called me that. No one calls me that except for my family and Selena. Weird. I replied, "Hi." He messaged back again, "i heard about Selena"." y do u care?" I asked. bcuz I can help he answered. I thought to myself you? Help? So I asked, "y? how?" he answered again, "bcuz I want 2, ill b ur friend." " wat r u talking about?" I asked. "i no u care about Selena nd i no u dont wanna b alone." He answered.

I was speechless.
