@kimfuly If you watch the video of Andy he uses a capo on it. If you don't use one it will just be a much lower version of the song.. 1.5 steps lower to be exact.

@MattBroniec It is always nice to have a second guitar that you can mess around with tunings with. I use my older guitar for that.. it usually stays in Open C. The alternate tuning is definitely a downside to this style of playing... I don't like constantly changing tunings just for one song. I actually don't play much guitar anymore at this point because I am very busy in other areas.. I have been messing around with Ukulele and also dueting with a friend and singing.

Hey man, great stuff! I've always loved acoustic, i feel like it is so personal. I play acoustic too, but i sing with it (not very good though haha) but i've always had a passion for instrumental. and great job covering andy mckee, not an easy thing to do, any suggestions when playing this style of guitar? The one thing that is killing me is that I try to keep my guitar in standard tuning. I need a second acoustic that i can experiment with tunings lol

@surfercook1 I'll keep the request in mind, man! Next time in that tuning I may.. I haven't put out a video in forever. Thanks for listening!

@surfercook1 I would do a tutorial but I honestly don't have much time to. I am so busy that I haven't posted a new song.. or even LEARNED one this whole summer. :( Also, I don't have enough demand for it really. If you send me a message (on this account) with any specific questions, I'd be more than glad to answer!

@revolutionize017 I love this guitar so much. It is a Breedlove AD25/SM with a cutaway and Fishman Classic IV pickup. Breedlove makes quality guitars! Thank you very much -- the sound is mainly due to the guitar and pickup but going line in is a great alternative to a camera mic.

Good job man! also love the sound quality. What kind of guitar you are using by the way?

Nice playin...feel like doing a tutorial? I could use the lesson.
Hi Riley, I commented on your last video of For my Father. I gotta say you have improved dramatically, great stuff.
Ok, it isnt perfect but then we are talking about an Andy Mckee tune, not easy even for the pros out there.
A small suggestion, can you tap you foot while you play or play to a metronome? I found playing to an even pulse evens out timing problems that naturally get thrown up while working on new tunes. Keep on playing :)

Hey there man.
For some reason everyone watches my old video! I don't want to take it off because it shows how much I have proved, like you said. That one has about 10,000 views.. this has 700 ;)
I think I may try that out! I have been suggested it so many times, and I believe I am too stubborn to do it! How do I know what count to set it to?
Thanks a bunch!

Thank you! That means a lot.. in my past 3 or so videos I have been trying to play with a little more emotion compared to my older videos.
