  • I find that lemmon on the salad makes a big difference. It's hard to find a *Good* Caesar salad. I went to a restaurant and asked for a Caesar salad and they asked me "What kind of dressing would you like?" ok.... Great video!

  • Proprietary mustard and tinned grated Parmesan?

  • Mmmmm. I want to try one like that. I guess it's time to plan a trip to the Hotel Caesar.

  • Wow, I had no idea all that stuff was in Caesar salad. I just use the kits from the grocery store, and the dressing in them is just some creamy ranch-looking stuff. I guess the real thing must taste a lot different.

in Mexico you use whatever is available. Consider yourself DAMN LUCKY to get Parmesan in a container. They don't like it either. And DIJON mustard?

    Keep on dreaming.

Never the less, this still is THE one and only Caesars salad. It seems you people just like to bitch.

By the way. Caesars salad was invented in TIJUANA, by Caesar Cardini's chef Santini, when, like most of the time in Mex. they had not much available, and used whatever ingredients they could find to make a salad.

  • high acidity should kill most bacteria leftover in the wooden boil. why the hell didn't they use parmeggiano reggiano or a good dijon?

  • Nice salad -that takes some skill to put together. Kinda sad that he used canned cheese. :(
