@Deathlock257 No, this group of animals became extinct at the end of the Permian along with many other creatures.
-
This is my favourite animal :DD
Are there any still alive today??
-
thanks for correcting me :)
the volcano idea makes more sense than a neutron star. it would be amazing to see these creatures alive in this era.
-
cool song what is it?

@infinus5 That is one of the hypothesis, another equally plausible hypothesis is that the Siberian supervulcano went berserk and raised the temperature enough for deep sea methane to rise to the surface, raising temparatures even higher. This is actually supported by geological evidence.
Affcorse the extinction then was so devastating (The earth nearly died), it could have easily been BOTH a supernova and a supervulcano.

the trilobites were killed off in the Permian mass extinction, when a neutron star eradicated the planets life with its deadly radiation
-
cool vid i wish these guys were still around
-
Too bad they're not around today...strange that something that was so successful disappeared entirely.
-
They lived throughout the paleozoic era! Homo sapiens'll extinct more earlier,I'm sure!
