A retrospective of the exciting All County High School A Cappella Festival for 370 students held in Loudoun County, Virginia on November 11 and 12, 2011. In two days, with clinicians Sheryl Berlin, Adam Scott and (Coordinator) Bill Colosimo, 150 boys and 220 girls from 12 schools experienced and embraced barbershop harmony--many for the first time!--and performed a complete show package for a standing-room-only audience of 800 parents, friends and educators! This is among the largest a cappella festivals ever exclusively featuring barbershop harmony for young people. Songs taught and performed included "Who Will Buy," "Under the Boardwalk," "Can You Feel The Love Tonight," "Jeepers Creepers," and "Lida Rose/Will I Ever Tell You." The event was co-sponsored and supported by Loudoun County Public Schools, The Chorus of the Old Dominion (Loudoun County Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society), the Mid-Atlantic District of the Barbershop Harmony Society, Harmony Foundation International, 'Round Midnight Quartet and The Choral Foundation of Northern Virginia. This successful joint venture proves the commitment of these organizations to the propagation of vocal music among young people, and confirms that barbershop music "isn't just for old folks!"
