Nice even though it aint that simple..but nice.
Also when you take the back and you get his wrist to put your hooks in, you can do a full nelson on the person.

lol didnt notice that until i read your comment
Good points made in this video, if your new in jiu jitsu this video will break down some key concepts while taking the back, watch carefully. For those with alittle more experiance would it be better to roll towards your side and sink in a body triangle? And when escaping is it a good idea just to try to roll into the choking arm so I am facing him

Peace friend, the body triangle would be a good technique to use in this scenario. I prefer turning away from the choke because you back is going to interupt the hinge of the choke (the hand on the bicep) thus neutralizing most of the pressure, but if you try rolling toward the choking arm while your opponent squeezes your neck he may succeed before your facing him. If you escape you will have used more energy than needed for simply laying on the hinge of the choke. Thank you for your comments.

This is simply one technique to escape back control. You teach basics then get more advanced. This does work, I've seen it work. Most the time it doesn't work when a skilled practitioner has your back. Helping people build an arsenal of techniques is whats important. If one technique doesn't work try the next until the escape happens. Your comments are appreciated.
