Norfolk Wolf looks at the Garrett GTI 2500 and puts it through its pace out in the field. See how you can find more and get to know this great detector from one of Britain's best known detectorists.

  • Hi

What is maximum depth to detect object for this device please?

  • @tomspeed2005 This all depends on the size & orientation of the object you are detecting.

  • This guy sure knows his stuff, I love my Garrett

  • swing your coil slower in the field and you wont miss anything. I see too many people speed walking and swinging their coil like an empty hookers purse. Slow down, think happy thoughts and swing slow, and overlap your passes. Just wait for the beep, don't go rushing looking for it.

  • @MrItsmejeffrey I think its a demo on a product not technique.

  • I've been out of detecting since late 80's early 90's. The Garretts back then were super well designed but not very good past 6 inches in rich soil. Still the same ? I mean this respectfully,,,but your search sweep is just not well rehearsed. Slow down and no up arc at the ends. Cheers
