@ivycompton ... You said it perfectly. Getting "lost" in their songs is exactly what happens when I listen to them. :-D

Listening to Singers Unlimited (especially their A Cappella recordings) is pure euphoria! Oh... especially using headphones! The fact they never sang live doesn't bother bother me in the least! I'm glad Gene, Bonnie, Len and Don recorded so many albums. Unequaled perfection!

It looks like I'm not the only one that is touched by these amazing musicians (singers).

DId you know they never sang live? That's what I read on the net somewhere, I think on a bio of Gene Puerling. These amazing arrangements by Puerling were done so perfectly by them because of the advances of sound recording technology of the time. Interesting eh?

Aaahh, yeees. I've had Fool on the Hill circulating around from one side of my mind to the next for the last month. *crosses eyes* REALLY astounding and powerful arrangements.

One of my two favorites by this group, along with Fool on the Hill. A song to get lost in. Such bliss. Thanks for posting.

Timeless classic from this pivotal vocal group. If I was 100th as talented as these folks I'd be happy.
Acappella has never been bettered!

Yes! Maybe their most amazing song (at least of the ones I've heard). The ending, with all those layers and voices going everywhere but still melding, just lays me out.
