Chris from Focusrite takes us through the Octopre series which can expand the number of inputs available for your adat soundcard and an idea partner for the Scarlett 18i6 and the Saffire Pro 24, 40 and 56's. A very useful upgrade path to expand your studio either now or in the future.
The Focusrite OctoPre MkII Preamp is a powerful input upgrade for a Pro Tools system. With 8 channels of Focusrite pre-amplification and a built-in 24-bit/96 kHz ADAT output, the OctoPre MK II is suitable for any digital audio workstation. It's also a great expansion for any analogue or digital console, or for a hard disk recorder.
The OctoPre MkII pre-amp's digital output makes the most of often-neglected ADAT inputs—ideal for expanding the number of mic-pre inputs on your interface. Connect OctoPre MkII to an audio interface's ADAT input to create a high quality, multi-channel recording solution. Focusrite OctoPre MkII is also an ideal preamp for tracking drums, as well guitars, keyboards, vocals, and more.
@techn9nekaliko Get a M audio fastrack pro. Plug in and play usb technology. I would recommend a mac tho :)

@gorangrooves If anything slightly cleaner/purer than your standard jack to jack or phono outputs as they have more reliable male/female response.

I am curious to know about the quality of those outputs. How good are they?
