Hey msgoakleaf - I wasn't allowed anywhere near the 1K zone without an escort. I had to have one of you ACR guys next to me inside the 5K zone. See if this brings back bad memories "Class II travel and assignment restrictions."

@gawnej I can certainly relate. Was with the 2/2 ACR (Bamburg FRG) running border patrol inside the 1K zone. This song still brings back memories of then.

to me this song is about the horse as an animal and its Soaring Spirit in such creatures
I have a telepathic experience most every time I'm near a horse and I can feel a little of that
animals mind touching mine. So I also cry a bit ......... I cannot stand to hear a horse crying

This song has always touched me deeply...I can't believe it was 36 yrs ago when I first heard this...I was 18...WOW...But no matter how many times I hear Mike sang this song it still reaches my soul...It nice to see all the video of him (Wildfire timeless, priceless and forever) Thank you Mike.
