I did something very similar to this this past weekend! Except I had no gear...just jeans and a tee! My friends and I did not think we would slide down a snow bank...lol. It's actually really fun/scary because you pick up so much speed.

Haha, I did this same thing in the middle of July last year. I used my backpack as a sled and my shorts were just about frozen by the time I reached the bottom. Such an excellent hike.
