In this video, Chase S. documents the work done on his Eagle Scout project, a water cistern built in the village of Mnyenzeni, Kenya. The villagers are dependent upon watering holes where they gather water, but in the long dry season these holes can dry up, so by building a cistern and collecting rainwater that falls on the tin roofs of the school buildings, the villagers have a constant source of relatively clean, fresh water.
