if your ipod touch's screen has becomed sticky/smudgy, just take some soap and some water and carefully wipe it on the screen (only on the screen, or else u can destroy it) and u will see that the shit is gone!

@huskybassett123, you probably damaged one of the contact points in the headphone jack. I'm not an expert but that is what happened to me. Take it to an apple store and let them look at it. There is no solution to fix it besides buying a new one. If your lucky you might get a replacement! Don't leave headphones in the jack when you aren't using them!
