the dock scenes from my movie desolate city. This is a 7 minute demo of what i hope the scenes will look like; it features some of the greenscreen that will be used, although the images themselves will be re-shot in the future. The orginal images were day time and i have turned them to night

  • Ok; I'll ask. Did you compose the music? So fitting! Great job. I'm impressed. It's been said before but I also find it too blue. Hope you don't mind my comments!

  • @ottoelperro no, the music was bought from a website... the whole blue effect is done on purpose, i wanted it this colour... all i need to do now is put the actors in these shots and the scenes will be done..

  • Nice effect although it's a bit on the dark side - which I suppose is the point LOL! The blueness looks too intense, unless it is actually an artistic effect you are going for in which case it's ok. That sunken boat looks eery - nice find. Thanks for the vid response.

  • @rickvanman hey rick... thanks for stopping by... yeah the blue effect is intense and it's what i was going for, as with all my day for night vids i really do like to make it as dark and ominous as possible...

  • Then again I'm not looking at a video monitor, just a computer monitor so that would make a difference too. Usually it's hard for me to stay interested in a long slow sequence here on YouTube (anything over 2 minutes), but this is very compelling and kept my interest the whole time. Good job, keep going with it.

  • @onjoFilms hi there, hows it going? yeah the blue is very blue but ive done that on purpose, i wanted the scene to be very blue and black, it gives it a really dark feeling to the film.. thanks fo viewing

  • Great work, can't wait to see the rest! Just find the girls a bit annoying! Hope they end up in the water!!

  • Cool stuff. I like your night scenes and your choice of music and sound effects are really good. I'm thinking color may be a bit blue for night. I'm definitely no pro on color, but am thinking maybe a desaturate filter for some of those peaks so they're not flourescenty. continued.....

  • Great work, look forward to seeing the finished one.

  • Looks really good that .. good work.
