The Wanderer - Old English / Englisc
An Old English elegy, a vivid and moving lament about the fleetingness of worldly things, mixed with wise advice and, finally, consolation.
Also the original of the song of Rohan sung by Aragorn in The Lord of the Rings.

I love it, yet the accent sounds German. I'd reckon that reading it in West Country, Geordie or Scots Borders would sound more like the ancestors :)

i'm not that good but there are some pronounce mistakes. Sometimes the AE ˆash' is ready as in 'man' and sometimes as in 'that' - this last one should be the proper one. In general he never stresses the long consonants - Also at the very last sentence, 'us' should not be read as in 'us both' but something like 'oose' ... am i wrong?

the phrasing is off sometimes. sentences do run on across half-lines.

It's nice to hear the Old English language.
It would have been nice to see a translation, either on the video or in the description.
