A few years ago, there was a preservation group with a plan to reopen the surviving section Wye Valley Railway from Tidenham tunnel towards Chepstow Junction. I read this in Heritage Railway magazine. Has this plan now fallen through?

A beautiful place, it just makes me so damned frustrated that the line was closed, and the speed at which the bridge was dismantled
