i have Q8400@3.00 and ATi Radeon HD 5770

im planing to upgrade which one is better

1. P55 mobo and core i5 661 or

2. ATi Radeon HD 5870

im in a tight budget but i want to enjoy playing games.

btw i bought Q8400 and HD 5770 b'coz i like how you review it

I've got a Satellite Toshiba L-670 i5, I had been tolad it was a DUAL CORE but when I see is the performances I see cpu 460, 2,67 Ghz 4 TIMES ! So I'm lost as I saw yesterday the i5 had 4 physical core... Is that different to a QUad CORE?

Geek POWER! I got it in March and before that I had an old, antic 086 Shneider 5 1/4 MS-DOS floppy disck computer! lol I know I still have a lot to catch-up!

@G30RG3GR Something is bottlenecking your CPU, the processor itself is good, but that's bad. A program is bottlenecking your computer, definately bad.

got Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU 660 @ 3.33GHz and always at  performance cpu usage gets full 80 90 % is good that or bad ... answer please !!
