Siepi awesome - so relaxed - I am at openmind5050 - Ol man river and Cole Porter- after six months of training since these recordings, sounding more like Sir Siepe everyday. I aspire. Had to get rid of the "baritone" like thin sound at the top. Poor technique. More speaking, speaking and speaking relaxation into the voice. One big cello. The High E naturals much more full now.
I have an awesome coach - new resonance chambers are being discovered everyday. Abit moe to go yet, but very close.

The sheer beauty of Cesare's singing makes one glow inwardly with unalloyed pleasure. And that orchestra! I could hear it was something special, but I had no idea it was Toscanini conducting until I read the comments. Verdi, Toscanini, and Siepi; a perfect storm!

Powerful and great interpretation!

@janejones11 You can ask for Ezio Pinza singing Confutatis maledictis for example although I also like Cesare Siepi's voice

Can any offer a finer bass singing this glorious music? Perhaps, but one would be hard pressed to do so. May he rest in peace.

Great voice! Great interpretation! I am so sad that Siepi is no longer with us.
Stunning voice, wonderful technique, true feeling. What more can the listener ask for?
