The AIDS/Lifecycle Ride was such an amazing experience for me and my team. It feels great to help make a difference for those who are living with HIV/AIDS and cannot afford medical treatment. My team and I are PUMPED to ride again next year.

  • what a dumbass questions, depicting the persistent myth that HIV/AIDS is a gay disease. The interviewer was showing his ignorance. "Oh Dude...ha..ha..ha". He must have been thinking a gay man was going to use that butt butter on him...nervous laughter and all. And what about that question about straights men possibly riding. Smacked of HOMOPHOBE from the beginning. No his was not cool. As usual, Scott was gentleman through it all.

  • @Zipemova1 well... the disease is currently affecting more people in the gay and black communities than any other... that's why it is refereed to as a "gay disease" which isnt totally incorrect, but not the best choice of words.

Thank you for the kind compliments my friend :)

  • i don't understand the gay aspect of this event, if money is being raised for HIV, why is there mostly gay men riding bikes???

  • @Jesse22H Because even though HIV affects us all... it is MOSTLY hitting the gay and black communities. Someone is infected every 9.6 minutes... its horrible.

  • Uh Oh TMZ's finally caught up with ya!O.O Could be a bad,or good thing... hoping good;o} lol!

  • @abstractjem Good thing! :)

  • very good! :) Thank you!

  • Can straight people ride in this? Is this Heterophopia now? lol

  • thank you Scott! I am HIV+ and one of the difficult things is the "hiding" because you are scared not to be attractive anymore for others or beeing ignored, if you admit it.

So thanks for your support to make this more public :)

  • God I wanna slap the interviewer.

  • Scott,

Thank OVER and OVER and OVER for your support. You are a good and kind man.

  • This video only just showed up in my subscription notices today, Scott. And a few days late or not, I stand by my earlier statements that you look like a damn SUPERHERO in that outfit. Ohhhhhh yeah!! Proud of you for doing the ride, man.

  • Scott you are the best i wish there were more people like you!

    Capt JC Smith

  • I don't think it's your quads you are showing off in those shorts. :-P Great job Scott, you are truly an inspiring straight ally.

  • Scott good job for some dumb ass question. Yes the cat calls are just on fun, but it did sound some of it was making you a little uncomfortable. Try the port a potty. I wish there was more of the serious side for doing the ride. The interviewer sim to have little knowledge of the ride since there been rides around for a long time. At first it was the California aides ride and it was nine of them then come aids life cycle rids and their have been ten of them so it has been going on for 19 years.

  • Scott Harman!

  • Awesome Scott! Congratulations on the ride and the publicity, although, knowing TMZ, we may only see the "butt butter" byte. ;)
