@wrathofgking Nope. They share a health pool and die at the same time when you kill one of them. Hope that helps! :)

at about how much health would one recommend to start tanking this raid? Buffed.

If I remember correctly, I started tanking Normal ToC-10 with around 33k-34k health fully buffed. Heroic ToC-10 was started with around 38k-39k health fully buffed. This included using a Flask of Stoneblood too.

so correct me if im wrong, please.

At the start if im attacking the white i get the black buff and when she does the vortex go get the white buff so i wont get damaged? but then go back to black when the vortex is over?

Correct. You will need to opposite (de)buff to deal increased damage to the boss. There are only two reasons to change buffs during the fight:

1.) If a boss of the opposite color as you begins to cast Vortex.

2.) If a boss of opposite color throws up a shield and begins to cast a heal.
