@deanddelgado You need to actually go to the web site and look at the kit. It HAS cables already. Maybe you should look at the product before spouting off.

Sorry, No harm intended. I''m just calling it like what I observed through the videos. Like I said, Its a very good concept and I would think maybe side mount cables will support the hinges even more. If not, disregard my comment. I do though support your products 100%.

Nope I scooted my ass in board because it it not fun to sit on the edge of the tailgate. Next time you sit on a lawn chair try using only a couple inches of the chair.

You went to every video I posted and said the same thing. Head over to my website in the installation photos, there is a picture of over 400 lbs sitting on the drop down tailgate conversion kits. It will hold 400lbs all day long with out any issues.

So can I assume the stock striker is still in place enabling the lock to continue to lock?
