  • Please please PLEASE can you tell me how your guitar is tuned so I can learn how to play this song. If you want to include tabs too than that'd be nice, but if not than thats fine.

  • @ClassicSlasher Hello, the real tuning that Robin uses!!: E=B, A=F#, D=B, g=F#, B, e=D#

    Huzzah!

  • @artintheforest I tuned my guitar to that but nothing matches up to what I see on the screen - you start out up on the 9th fret and you're capo 1, which means if I'm tuned open (the way you wrote), I should be playing something on the 8th fret, but that's just not right. Are you sure that's the tuning you used for this video? I hate to be "that guy" but I'd love some clarification because that tuning works for one of the instructional videos on YouTube but not for the way you played it. Thanks!

  • @hombre3000 Hey its cool, I'm playing it a different way than how Robin from fleet foxes does it. He uses B, F#, B, F#, B, D#

(I just didn't know that tuning at the time we made this video. Its essentially the same notes in both tunings, but with different positions on the frets).

I'll send you the link to the video where you can see robin playing it with B, F#, B, F#, B, D#

  • @artintheforest Oh, got it. My mistake. Which tuning did you use? I like the way you play it.

  • @hombre3000 I used E=D, A=A#, D, g=F, b=A#, e=D

  • @hombre3000 type this into youtube. its the first vid that shows up! it shows him using the tuning I told you, and you can see his hand positions on ze fretboard! : ) hope it helps "Robin Pecknold - New Song / I Feel The Same"

  • you are a little bit van Gogh :D

  • Fantastic Mr Fleet Foxes. Nice one Siddhartha. A joyous rendition and simulcast. BTW when ur talking to your soul sister Kiersten, you can tell her that I could with considerable inconvenience to myself, clear my diary to duet with her. :)

  • Me and Kiersten have the same mouth movements when we sing xD

  • @artintheforest No problem, and no, though I am familiar with his work (having the same name and all) I'm a different Joshua Lutz. I'm just an appreciator of great music.

  • If you ever need another harmony girl for a collab video let me know! :)

  • Oh this is beautiful. I love both your voices so much.

  • what is that on your guitar?

  • Brilliant!
