I know it's not the greatest, I just came across this song late last night, and though t I'd put a lot of pics of the Newcastle Jets, to the song, which is "Newcastle" by Daniel Arvidson

Would be awesome if it said "Go the Jets" not "Go the Knights", ohwell, ill be singing this all the way to the grand-final, and all the way back!

It is not a Newcastle Knights song. It is a Daniel Arvidson song. Yes, the knights are mentioned. I was not trying to take that out of the song, just showing passion for my town and my team leading into the A League grand final. The way in which some people have reacted to a song because its a 'knights' song is ridiculous. the song comes from an idea he saw while in florence, italy, where the village would sing a local song whenever there was a scene for celebration, wether it be soccer, motorsport, local celebrations.. this song is about newcastle, and even tho it mentions the knights, dont go putting down anyone else for it.. jets fans can be proud of their hometown too, or cant we share newcastle with knights fans?

This song is a free download on his website danielarvidsondotcom , there is also now a live version of this song on youtube recorded at the foreshore grand final victory celebration for the knights 2001 its absolutely massive. Daniel is a proud Novocastrian and this song was for the love of his hometown. Go the Knights..Go the Jets...Go NEWCASTLE !!! Thats what its about............... Peace.
