Max is wonderful. We have a year old morkie and he is overly protective of me when out on walks. He barks and growls and makes scenes. I am not sure whether this is common with morkies. I gather Maltese are very protective of their owners. He eats everything he comes across on the sidewalk so a vet said to use the basket muzzle when out on walks as he had a good sized bone in his mouth that he almost swalled as well as other objects!! I am stymied.

@PKStefanini Thank you so much. Max is the exact say way!! He is ver protective. I believe it is just a trait. He also makes scenes and attacks. They live and act like they are much bigger than they are. Max is also a concern with the eating outside. Especially frogs (Florida). If he sees or smells one, one day. He seeks it out everyday from then on. He remembers exactly where it is.
