This is all taken out of context. Sex Ed? They're not suggesting that we teach five year olds to use condoms. They are suggesting teaching them the proper names for their anatomy and good touch vs. bad touch, which is necessary in order to protect themselves. Which is perfectly appropriate and beneficial to their development.

@joroma77 the only problem i have with homeschooling is: they unprepared for the real world and the evils you encounter on a daily basis. they are too trusting because they havent seen the bad kids at school. because the real world is cold cruel at times and you must be street smart or the streets will eat you alive. the same with private catholic schools. they get taken advantage of when they get into public schools. i have seen this time and time again. damned if you do and damned if you dont.

I don't know what's in sex ed these days, but I fear the worst. All the sex ed I got in school was in biology class, and it was all about procreation, except for that short-haired liberal woman talking about the joys of orgasm one time. Sex today is so casual and colored by pornography. I'm afraid information about sex at an early age may damage a naturally curious mind. I'm not even going to let my children use Internet until they're teenagers, hence why homeschooling is the only safe choice.
