Eve Arden, Kathy Gale and Lorene Yarnell perform their version of Jacques Brel's "Madeleine" on "What's It All About World?" originally broadcast April 10, 1969.
After searching for an hour for an english version of Madelaine, which incidentally was on the Jacques Brel is alive and well and living in paris, I end up with Eve Arden singing it on the old Shields and Yarnell show from the early 1970's. If I remember correctly Shields and Yarnell did their best work as mimes......silently.....singing was not their forte.
