Synopsis:
Besotted by Shamajaans beauty the notorious Shahbaaz Khan tries to woo her but she indicates her unwillingness. A furious Shahbaaz then abducts and takes her to his palace. However, Shamajaan manages to escape, and lands up at the palace of Ahmed Khan, where she is treated with respect, and assured protection. Frustrated, Shahbaaz claims Shamajaan to be one of his concubines. Ahmeds family now has no choice but to turn Shamajaan out, and again at the mercy of Shahbaaz Khan.

I actually prefer the older stuff better as long as it doesn't try to be "modern" and/or rip off other stuff. This isn't bad.
