Ernie the Sheepdog Highlights

Meet Swift the sheepdog, from the children's TV series "Mist: Sheepdog Tales".

If you need a dog to jump higher, climb further and work harder than any other, Ernie is your man. But not if you want a fun chat. A dog of few words, Ernie is gruff and determined, but has a heart of gold and would do anything for his mum, Swift. At the moment Ernie is resting because all that hard work has given him a limp on his front legs.

"Mist: Sheepdog Tales" is on Five's Milkshake slot at 9:30am from April 12th 2008.

@Ditohama haha *waits a couple of years before posting* Yup that's often the case but I still am a fan of a great deal of american shows/cartoons in anycase xD I guess a lot of the time you have to pick if you want fancy animation and effects(which is a good bonus) or a decent story, rarely will you find both together...Which is a shame.

That though, I didn't know...but neat! You're right though, a story only needs itself, regardless of its audience...it seems like many of the post-90s cartoons and shows in the US, opt for appearance rather than substance. (Not that I'm gonna stand here and say 'Oh cartoons should always have a deep moral message embedded per episode', pffh)

Also...talking dogs, that's always a plus.

@Ditohama I know your post of over two years old but I just thought I'd point out that Mist is kind of a classic over here in the uk. We don't have high budgets to work off like you do in the usa so it's the best we can do and to be honest I would rather have it this way than animated and glamerous. c:

Yeah it's a real show...and I don't care if your post is over nine month's old, I'm answerin'.

It's a children's show about the life of a group of herding collie's over in the UK/Europe area, it often shows, in condensed form, what life's like on those farms...at least for the animals.

Currently there's two seasons out and a movie, third season's being made presently.
