  • You might want to note that the original arcade version was done by Mutsuhiko Izumi (who also worked on the arcade version of TMNTIV) & Miki Higashino. Keizou Nakamura arranged and composed the additional stage themes for the NES version.

  • Sure, that sounds noteworthy to me. Thanks for the info man, I modified the description for this entry, as well as the arcade version (was missing Miki there apparently). Props man, always cool when users help me out here and there.

  • I always thought 2:56 was the best music and that one day it would be sampled in a rap song. I guess a lot of rapper never played TMNT 2 when they were young lol

  • @CMOODO ha-ha.

  • I love the drum beat on this.

  • I never will forget renting this game in 1990 and enjoying it to the fullest. I would finish watching my Saturday morning cartoons and then tear through this game (or so I thought at the time, I was young though) over and over with the code for I think it was 9 lives and allowed advancing to the last level. The game was so impressive to me at a time when I was so young that I didn't even know what "good graphics and sound" were, all I knew was this game was INCREDIBLY FUN TO PLAY!

  • I still have this game and the booklet that came with it. The back page of the booklet was a coupon for a free large pizza from either Pizza Hut or Domino's Pizza. I can't remember which pizza place because it's been a while since I've looked at the booklet, but I do remember not cashing in on the free pizza because I didn't want to destroy my booklet. LOL

  • I like how Raph just calmly walks through the level bitch slapping the foot clan.

  • i own this game, thought thought all of you needed to know

  • Well, now here's a fucking classic! This game was so much better than the original. It was more like the arcades version. I remember spending hours at the arcade playing TMNT with my friends LOL!

These games bring back so many memories

  • waaay better then the original Ninja turtles theme song
