There is not a band in Lima at the time that could ever make this claim, and that's why our competition has made sure that we remained a myth over the years. Between Manolo and his "way ahead of his time" guitar solos and the great drummers we were fortunate enough to work with, the was no band equal or close to the talent contained in this group. "THE MADS" will be returning to Lima in the early part of 2010 to perform for all of you.

This is one recording I totally forgot we did. That was Tono Zarzar & I doing the vocals and "Loco" Gadea on the drums. Great memories of our start in Lima Many stories have been told about "The Mads" some accurate..some not.... Before we left to London to work with the "Stones" we played every weekend at either the "Galaxy" / "Tiffany's" or at private parties. We had standing room only at all our events.
