Watched this on a big screen in a French seaside cafe (the day after watching Tommy Voeckler thwart Cav in the finish at Perpignan). The atmosphere was electric, and Millar's performance will be remembered for years to come: brave, courageous but at the same time very stylish. Such a shame that he couldn't quite hold on for the win, but an amazing effort none the less. One of the all time greats of British cycling.
