  • great video,i dont know what happened i lost you for awhile, glad i found your site again

  • @hogkillerjp Hey that is nice of you to say that. Thanks and Take care :)

  • feeding them with sugar water will sometimes be a good feed

  • @tingmarco1 Sometimes, If you really have no other choice then I would go for it too. But really only as a last resort. Sugar has nothing in it. The only reason bees can eat it is because of this fact. It gives energy but no nutrients. Honey on the other hand is their food and is good for them. Thank you for making your comment. :)

  • Ah that's a great way to go about it :)

  • @discoveryireland nice one thanks for the feedback. Feeding honey is a good way alright :)

  • @tingmarco1 You make a very valid point here, the best thing is to feed your own honey. If you use shop bought honey then yes it can cause really nasty diseases. Thanks for your comments on this.

  • Please comment and rate Cheers

  • @yourgardens Thanks man :)

  • Great video and a really important message too!

  • @BotanyVideo Hey I am with you 100 % on that one cheers. Thanks for your comment.

  • Thanks for feeding with honey! Corn syrup and sugar water is not so good. Honey is their best medicine!

  • thanks for you reply.

  • @HiPERKO808 Hey nice one, you too. ;)

  • this is cool dude, keep it up with the vids ;)

  • @poprocz Ah that's tough. Good luck, hope you get your numbers up :)

  • @workwithnature

Well the two hives I lost were the only two I had.

    Better luck this coming summer.

  • @poprocz Hey nice one, I hope they do pull through. How are your bees doing

  • If I had done this last winter maybe I wouldn't have loss two hives to starvation.

    Smart move on your part.

  • @crystalskullmother You are quite right there. My bees normally do not need feeding as they get to keep all they will need. But the trouble was that they did not gather enough as I got them late in the season as swarms. I should have fed them then, but there was no time with all the others needing my attention. I could not let them starve however ones I realized the situation. ;)

  • @ohiohoney Hey that's great cheers.

  • thank you - i would love for you to be 'friends' here on youtube....bees...we love them!!!

  • That is a very nice vid, but I don't believe in feeding in winter at all. The bees should take care of themselves otherwise they'll never survive.
