Based on a true story, this 1993 made-for-television movie is about Dr. Norman Grayson (Beau Bridges), a man who loves too well--and too often. He's hopelessly smitten by three different women: Robyn (Pam Dawber), Katy (Joanna Kerns) and Lillian (Kathleen Lloyd) over the course of several years. Grayson ends up marrying all three, and then spends the rest of the movie trying to be a good and faithful husband to each wife without the others discovering his tangled web of deceit.

  • Thank You so much for posting this. I was pregnant for my first child when I saw this. I have such great memories of it. Thanks again!

  • @PuggyLuvr You're welcome. Thanks for watching. I'm glad this movie brought back such great memories for you. Take care.

  • I can't help but observe that Robin is handling this the best of the three. Maybe because she already knew and it wasn't such a shock after he died.

  • @raerae1281 I agree. Also, Robin didn't have to worry about losing her house like Katy did. Lillian was going to sue to gain control of all of her and Norm's community property which also included Katy's business. Robin owned her house before she married Norm. And Lillian had to deal with the fact that her husband married two other woman after her. She had to face the fact that she wasn't enough for him.

  • you would think a doctor would realize that a hospital is the root of all gosip ;) great movie! thanks for the post!

  • @CorrieKatczynski You're welcome. I'm glad you liked it. Thanks for watching.

  • 7:07 and there were 3 wives and one boy toy..

  • Robyn's explanation about Norm's death to her daughter was done really well.

In real life I guess this guy was a respected doctor. Too bad his selfishness meant the rest of his patients never received his quality of care.

  • A man choosing to marry three time is evidence that this statement "a man who loves too well--and too often" is at best a convenient kind of truth having little to do with real love or any kind of respect for law on any level

    thanks for sharing

  • @thecatlady101 You're welcome. Thanks for watching
