plus I'm black, and I know the darker the skin the harder to remove, so this is why I might be opting for an excision

ok well the tattoo I have is small and black, and I was wondering if I should opt for an excision? I know it leaves a scar but I don't mind..and the tattoo is fairly new! Do you know why many people avoid the excision method?

Most people avoid excision because it tends to leave a terrible scar. If you don't mind sporting a potentially terrible scar, it's definitely faster and less expensive than laser tattoo removal.

do you know if its less painful than lasering, since your not awake during the surgery?

Dr. Tattoff performs laser procedures, not excisions. Please direct any questions about excision to a doctor who performs excisions.
