hey i am going to get my viper alarm installed in a week i hate the chirp noise on the alarm when you set it do you think the installer can disable it so that only my remote control chirps when i set the alarm.

i had this same alarm that claims to be 1mile range but when i park 2-3 blocks away and i'm inside a building i can not get reception with the car =/
