The glossy screen is superior IF you have a glare-free working area. That can be hard to find with a portable. In any case there are excellent matte screen appliques available if you have an issue with a glossy screen.
I find that matte screens are difficult to clean,a problem grows worse as time goes passes.
Also, this machine is not offered with a 2.93 GHz processor. 2.8 GHz is the current top speed.
