This is a very literal cover of Johnny A's "Oh Yeah". What else can I say? The guy is a monster. It took me months to learn this. I wish I had 5% of his ability. I also played/recorded the bass track.

  • I like your playing. This is a great tune. Where did you get the backing track?

  • @chrisdemiko : Thanks; glad you liked it. I made the backing tracks myself --programmed the drums and played the bass.

  • Nice work!! it really sounds great. I 've been watching Jonny A's video for Oh Yeah for about an hour and i've figured out about of the parts but the solo's im gunna have to work at for a while! i'm 14 by the way.

  • Nice playing! One of my favorite Johnny A tunes. I like your work on the solo!!! Keep it up!!!

  • Great job Chris! Johhny A is the shibby for sure. Our little band covers most of Johnny A's tunes and this one is a real crowd pleaser. Never seen a tab or backing track for 'Oh Yeah', but takin' the tune off the record is half the fun. We have a vid of us doing it on my channel... "austinproject" (click my sig below)

  • hey. awsome cover.

do you have any tabs. if so could you send them to me through youtube.

  • Great song! I'm in love with Johnny A. and I'd like to post my own version of this song, the problem is that I can't find a backing track, and I don't feel like playing it over the original song..

  • One word....awesome!

  • I know it is a lot to ask but I could really do with a backing track - just for my own playing. Can you let me know how you got/created this? You're sounding really good over it too!

  • I've seen him about ten times live. Our band covers this song as well but of course there can be only one Johnny A. Nice job on the cover.
