Auras on SciFi Network's "Proof Positive"

Auras and Aura Imaging are once again prominently shown on the SciFi Network TV program, "Proof Positive". Incidentally, auras were the one story that was "proof positive"-ly true! Guy Coggins, president of Aura Imaging and inventor of WinAura and the Aura Camera is interviewed in this braodcast.

Seriously, how true is this aura photography phenomenon anyway? I took a picture of mine recently, but I am dubious about the extreme lack of accredited and scientific documentation in just about anywhere I have searched. You won't find this one google scholar, academic premier or JSTOR, and most of the ones on google are potentially spurious. There is just too little well-documented evidence so far, in spite of the phenomenal attention given to it.

@creamie123 I think of things this way: All things we encounter in life "exist"--dogs, air, computers, us--but there are many things in life which may not "exist" but are still very "real"--god(s), intangible concepts like "democracy", auras, etc. They are "real" because, even if they don't exist in a physical sense, they still have some kind of EFFECT on that which "exist".

One's actions can be done for any intangible, technically non-"existent" reason ("God told me to do it", "This is democracy in action", "I can feel my aura changing"), but it still doesn't change the fact that they acted. If that reason was not "real" to them, then they wouldn't have done it. Sure it's a technicality--they were the ones who acted--but it is what is.

That is how "real" something is; the ability to affect that which "exist" without actually "existing".

A green aura is related to business/money? I was certain green has to do with healing and vitality, and that business/money oriented people would have a weak/murky aura. Of course, I'm sure that woman makes ten times what I make in a year, so her opinion must be worth something.

like the guy said it is simply biofields that we have if you listen to that part of the video then the word aura is just simpler way to define a bio magnetic field.

Not everything will ever be proven by science for example most people belive in god regardless of what religous affilation they chose no one knows what god truly looks like but we know he is there. also here is something to think about look at the moon and and the light surrounding the moon. the moon it self has and aura of light around it.If the moon has auric light around it then why is it not possible that living things can't have one.

I found it really interesting when the guy was asked if he was ready to put on his flatjacket and take up his gun for war had such a drastic change in his aura... and that it changed to red. I don't know how to read auras but I do know red is the colour signified in the base chakra which relates to our instintual behaviour of fight or flight.
