I'm not trying to get into this argument or anything, and I know you don't like rap (obviously); but from what I've seen, LP is the first band to bring together two completely different genres of music (rap & rock), create one style with it, and do a damn well good at it. To me that's a completely original idea. Even though you don't like rap, you have to say that they're an amazing band, and have meaningful lyrics.
