He is basically saying he would rather you believe in something for no reason than to follow the evidence that someone has. If the evidence leads people to believe there is no god then they should stop believing instead of just pretending to believe in something they know is false.

But if the evidence doesn't show that the god being referred to actually exists then why would someone rather have that person just go and pretend that the god exists and pretend to be grateful to it when they could just remain skeptical until they are presented with convincing evidence so that they can believe it without meaningless dishonest belief?

I'd have to agree that people are gullible and follow things blindly with no proof though. Fools are certain to be wrong... Islam provides scientific proof...

A testament to the ignorance encouraged by religions. "If you can't believe our claims, at least accept the claims of some other cult that can't demonstrate their claims". This man should be ashamed of himself. People who believe things when no compelling evidence exists are gullible fools who are almost certain to be wrong.
