This song must once again be the anthem of all people of conscience, not only in Wisconsin and Ohio, but anywhere hard-working people are fighting for their share of the wealth they've created.

A lot of people forget why Unions were formed. They need to read their history books and see how it was before unions. Today we are basically killing ourselves by buying things that aren't made in USA to save a buck. I am to blame also.

Disgusted with the 'Bain Capital' style death of their company, is how they feel.

After the workers took numerous cuts in wages and benifits,to keep hostess alive, and hostess still went bankrupt. the CEO, minions and 'consultants' rewarded themselves with millions upon millions, and the the levy broke. Don't just make baseless coments where you are not even welcome , do some research, RAT.

Sticking to union of course means rejecting unfair working wages and unfair working conditions. You can't scare me, because I know in uniting with other workers we can prevent unfair labour practises. Don't let your individualism breach the conduct of the union. Stand for workers rights!

A bit more: I think you are unfair to Obama. You omit historical context. In the midst of a world wide recession Obama has been fighting for change--and the Republicans have stalled & blocked him & l lied--to the point where it seems like the GOP would do anything to defeat the President--even if it hurts the country.

Whereas, Obama who you perversely blame for your trillion dollar private system, actually it illegal for the HMOs to deny people insurance coverage if they were already sick.

In reality, politicians of all stripes have bought into the myth that "smaller government" [read de-regulation and privatization of public resources] for decades. But it was George Bush & the Republican crazies who really gutted government oversight of key industries like banking.

Obama didn't carry on Bush's "policies" his decision to bail out the banks & car companies saved America from catastrophe.

And Obama has done what no Republican has the inclination or the guts to do: fight the HMOs.

In reality Pres. Carter de-regulated the banking and oil and gas and there have not been any regulation in either but we need regulation. And Obama carried on the Bush policies and bailed out banks, car companys and put us in 2 plus trillion in debt and that was one of his campaign promises. And we are losing jobs still so I don't see Obama having accomplished much except that health care that is costing the tax payer over a trillion dollars. We definitely need change.

You've drunk the Republican Kool-Aid friend. It is Fox News propaganda, in fact a cherished myth of all right wing commentators, that liberal policies slow the economy. The opposite is true. Government investment in badly needed infrastructure--CREATES jobs.

It was the Bush White House who merrily re-regulated the banking system and tanked the economy.

I pray that Obama is re-elected, and that the 47% of Americans Mitt Romney doesn't think it's his job to worry about, get the hell out & vote.
