I did 30mins 30/30. Ski jumps.jumping jacks.squats.jog in place

So you are saying I can do more, but a standard tabata is only 4 mins?
Can you tell me if it is hard on the joint and knee running in place? My right lateral meniscus hurts when my knee is twisted in a certain way.
I doesn't look like you run really fast. Do you do it in a steady pace or do you blast it out?
What warm up do you suggest before doing tabata?

@jtcber 4 rounds meaning don't do 4 rounds of 4 minutes... I say try it and see how you like it... ;)

Is it hard on the joint? This looks like a low impact exercise that I can try. I was thinking to start HIIT with squat.
When you say no more than 4 rounds, do you mean no more than four 4 min exercises? Tabata is a 4 min exercise?

I started doing running on the spot tabata. Being very overweight, i can currently only manage 2 mins, so thats 4 sets. i run on the spot as fast as i can and am pleased to note that i am steadily losing about 4-6lbs a week. i also notice my appetite is less than what it was, which helps. going to increase the reps slowly until i can manage the 4 mins, but must confess, it does seem to work!

This is awesome. You think its a good idea 2 incorporate this in P90x during like say Yoga day and Cardio day? Thx in advance. Just wanted your input. Congrats on the new body. Keep it up. I was skeptical at first but loving it so far. specially the ab ripper X
